We've transformed our worship space into a place for Godly Play!

Take a look at the album in our Photo Gallery to see what wonderful resources we'll be using.

What is Godly Play?

It's an opportunity, to discover God through story, wondering and reflection.

It's a movement to influence the Churches’ support of spiritually rich practices with children and adults.

What is Godly Play @Ryton?

All of the above, and much more, as well as a form of explorative worship for all ages.

When can we experience Godly Play?

Starting on 17th September 2017, the third Sunday of every month will be a time for Godly Play.

Come and join us!

Happy Easter!

Our 10.30 family service was full of joy and fun, including balloons! Janet, our minister, reminded us of the transformation in Mary Magdalene's feelings, from empty despair to happiness brimming over, as she spread the good news of Jesus' resurrection. Here are some pictures from the service.

Toilet Twinning Success!

Posted by Admin on March 15, 2017 at 5:45 AM Comments comments (0)

Here's a message  from Sam, our young people's worker, following the post below this:

"Thank you to everyone who supported the Toilet Twinning fundraising efforts. That is all the children/young people for their hard work, all the adults who helped make it happened and everyone who donated money.

Amazingly, we raised £190! That equated to some shop products and two twinned toilets for the church!

The Toilet Twinning charity are thrilled with what we have achieved.

We were also very close to being able to twin a third toilet- only about £20 away. To try and raise that last £20 and get that third toilet, we will be keeping the fundraising going until after Easter. That means people can keep collecting in their boxes over lent and have the money added to the total."

Check out the pictures in the Photo Gallery and let's make sure that the third toilet is twinned as soon as possible. You can go to the charity's website to see what it's all about:

Flushing away Poverty!

Our young people are spending this March weekend raising money for a worldwide chairty, Toilet Twinning. Can they raise enough to twin our church toilets with others in places where they are so much needed?

Of course - with your support!

Look out for more in a photo album coming soon....
