Ryton Methodist Church

At Ryton Methodist Church one of our aim is to introduce children, young people and families to God in a way that is relevant and real to them. These are some regular events we hold which do just that:

Sunday School

Meets every Sunday morning from 10.30am.

Session are always different and can include games, crafts, discussion and Bible study.

Ryton Messy Church

For families, young and old: Messy Church is ‘Church’ alright but not as you would ever have imagined it!

We meet every month on a Saturday afternoon, usually on the last Saturday of the month, at 4pm. Each month has a theme and activities are tied to that theme.

Our sessions start with some time to burn off energy with games and action songs. Then, we have the 'Messy bit'; a time to enjoy a range of crafts and activities. After the crafts, we have worship, a fun and interactive time with God. The session is then finished by sharing a meal together.

Messy Church will return on Saturday 24th March with Messy Easter.
