Ryton Methodist Church seeks to develop and share in a vibrant Christian ministry offering resources to support family and community development.
Our Services
We meet for worship on Sundays at 10.15am, the style of worship is a mixture of modern and traditional. We aim to extend a warm welcome to anyone who wants to join us. We have a kids group which is aimed at under 11s that runs during the service.
Fellowship
We meet regularly to study the Bible together and to discuss what it means for us today, we pray together, laugh together and grow together. We are currently meeting in person as well as on zoom.
Rev. Dave Charter
Dave is the minister of Ryton Methodist Church, with a heart for encouraging a deeper relationship with Jesus and for bringing hope and good news to our community through meeting practical and spiritual needs. Dave was previously an Occupational Therapist in Manchester before God called him into ordained ministry, which eventually led to moving to the North East with his wife and two children to serve the church.
